We’ve all met people who share the same name. I’ve met many a Tim. Some memorable and some less so. Tim at CT Motors is readily placed in the memorable category. Affable from my first interaction on the phone as I booked in my car for a service, AC regas and a niggling power train problem, attentive throughout in keeping me up to date with progress in superb detail and affordable when it came time to collect the car. That’s a triple A rating! This Tim has a gift. And I’ve met a few gifted Tim’s; Flannery and Fischer come to mind. But CT Motor’s Tim’s gift is one of the strongest analytical minds I’ve encountered in many years of having cars and motorcycles serviced. I have my own skillset and am frequently in awe of those who can demonstrate mastery of their craft. Tim at CT Motor’s is one such mechanic. And not to throw shade at mechanics in general (I’ll readily acknowledge my mechanical limits!) but this Tim is one out of the bag. He makes me wish I owned more cars with problems so that I can offer him a fresh challenge. I’ll be back at CT Motor’s. No doubting that. An ad for a car servicing product that I recall stated, “When you’re on a good thing, stick to it.” We need more things in life to stick to. And CT Motor’s is one of those. I have bemoaned in a previous review that Google should offer a zero star option. In this case, I’d seek an extra star for Tim. For Tim is a true star of an industry that I marvel. For to make a car feel like it did 100,000 KMs ago is indeed marvellous!

Fantastic service from Tim. Had a car roadworthied and fitted out with a reverse camera, 2 way radio, uhf antenna, reverse squawker, 40mm suspension lift and side steps. Dealing with him was an ease from the initial emails to the actual installations. Down to earth, good old fashioned service and workmanship, very glad to have him and his brother Chris in our neighbourhood. Highly recommended.
